March 2020 Announcement: In an effort to slow the outbreak and to be considerate of everyone’s health, I am taking no chances for our families and yours. I routinely wipe all supplies and jewelry pieces with effective cleaning agents and secure them in closed containers. I wear gloves as I handle your items and have placed all supplies and pendants in sealed containers. I have a young child at home and have drastically reduced our exposure to all people right now. Our protection is as important to our family as it is to yours, and we want you to know the steps we have taken. If you have questions, please message us here. Unique Christmas Gifts Idea Inspired by Nature.

Let's face it, gift giving can be tricky. Especially for the woman who already has everything she needs. But if you are looking for a unique way to show your favorite nature-lover that you really care about her (and the environment also), here is a list of my favorite eco-friendly gift ideas that will let he know you ARE actually listening!

Buy her some swag from Ten Tree or Park's Project. Both of these companies donate a portion of their proceeds to nature conservation projects. Ten Tree plants 10 trees for every purchase made. Park's Project contributes directly to one of over 50 non-profit groups protecting parks and public lands in the US and Canada, providing vital funding for the ongoing care of National Parks and public lands. Plus, both of their clothes are super yummy! They both use soft materials and everything is well-made.

I love Fiddlefish because they upcycle the glass jars they use for their candles. So what was once used as a jar of tomato sauce is now used to house your candle! Jessica, Fiddlefish's creator, is Los Angeles based and makes all of her products by hand. Try one of these candles or some goat's milk soap

Yeah, I know, Christmas may not feel like the most ideal time to give her a plant, especially if you live in colder climates where you can't put them outdoors. But this will be something she never would have expected and she can appreciate it for months to come! Plus, plants bring more oxygen into a home, which in turn makes your air fresher and everyone happier! Opt for an indoor plant, and preferably one that's easy to care for, like this succulent trio from The Sill.

Marley's Monsters is a one-stop shop for eco-friendly, reusable products and unique baby goods. With over 100 products on their website, you are sure to find something she can use. Marley's Monsters is a family-owned business. It was started by Sarah Dooley, a mom of two who started out by making sustainable and reusable items for her own kids. Zero Waste Store carries products that are earth and ocean friendly, all natural, sustainably sourced, palm oil free, cruelty free, and zero waste! Here you can buy health and beauty items, cleaning products, and pet-care. Also founded by a woman named Sarah, who started the company because of her deep love of nature and conservation.

I've compiled a list of a few of my favorite tree-hugging inspired books for you below. And even better yet, get her the Kindle Paperwhite to read them on, my personal favorite way to read. I love that it reduces paper usage because it's digital (so no trees were cut down to make it). Your lady can read thousands of books without the guilt of harming trees.

And of course I can't let you get away without mentioning some of my fine nature-inspired pieces she is sure to love! Try the Treehugger or Acorn necklace for a more traditional style. If she has a more unique style opt for the Dancing Tree necklace, it's completely handmade with oodles of love and care! Plus, for each item purchased I make a donation to our nonprofit partner, National Forest Foundation, who will plant a tree for us.
